He guys, time to get out and start cutting the grass. That means you need to fire up the old lawn mower, get the blade sharpened, put in some gas, adjust the wheel and deck cutting height and get to going!
But what is the best way to cut the lawn: mulch or catch?
I like mulching because it recycles the grass plants back into the lawn and restores nutrients that otherwise may have been used elsewhere. If you catch your clippings, then you are just taking those nutrients (and water and moisture too) out and away from the lawn where it is most needed.
I also recommend you cut when the weather is cool and not hot and dry as this will stress the lawn out even more. Be good to the grass, and it will stay green all season long for you!
